What is the Bagua Map?

Think of your room like a game board. The Bagua map divides this game board into 9 special zones, and each zone controls something different in your life.

The Simple Idea

Example: If you want to be smarter at math, you’d put special things in your “Knowledge area.” If you want your family to be happy, you’d put special things in your “Family area.”

How to Use the Bagua Map

Step 1: Stand at your bedroom door, looking IN.

Step 2: The wall with your door is always the BOTTOM of your map.

1. Career Area (North) — Your “What I Want to Be” Corner

The Story

The Career area is like the engine of a car. It’s in the North part of your room (usually near your door). This zone controls your life path — what you want to be when you grow up, your dreams, and your journey through life.

What Lives Here?

Why Water?

Water flows and finds its way around rocks and mountains. Just like water, your career should flow naturally. When water is blocked, it gets stuck and yucky. When it flows, it’s fresh and alive!

Real Example

Maya’s Story: Maya wanted to be a veterinarian. Her Career area had old broken toys piled up. She cleaned it out and put:

• A small fountain (water energy!)
• A picture of herself with animals
• A black picture frame

Within months, she got picked for the school’s animal care club!
